If you have maxed out your online storage for email, the act of downloading that mail to an email client may free up a great deal of space.

To check, sign in to Web Mail (https://webmail.earthlink.net) and check the storage meter in the upper-left corner of the screen.

TIPS TO AVOID MAXING OUT YOUR EMAIL STORAGE

* Every once in a while, follow the instructions given in the link above to free your storage space.

* Make sure that your email program is set up to delete messages off the server once you've downloaded them. You'll find a helpful walk-through at:

* Purchase additional storage space for as little as $1.95 a month.

* To get more storage space now: visit the plan details page for My Account (https://myaccount.earthlink.net/cam/plandetails.jsp), then click the "Edit" button for the email address you want to change.
