EarthLink Email Server Settings
Our most common email settings can be found below. You can chose between IMAP and POP3 settings. IMAP will keep your email in sync with EarthLink Web Mail and other email clients configured to use IMAP. POP3 is an older mail setting that, generally, downloads all your email from the server each time you check your mail.

Optional POP3 Email Setting: Leave a copy of Messages on Server:
You can leave a copy of messages on the server by selecting your email client's "Leave a copy of messages on the server" option. This is usually found at the bottom of the settings page or under an Advanced settings tab. Most email clients offer a secondary option to allow you to set how many days you want email to remain on the server or to remove messages only when deleted from your email client's Trash or Deleted items folder.
