Android
The most common way to add an email is to us the Gmail app that is often preinstalled on Android devices. The Gmail application will let you check third party emails like EarthLink as well as Gmail addresses. To setup your EarthLink email using the Gmail application, follow these steps:
- Open the Gmail app (Note: It may be in a Google folder with several other apps.)
- Your experience may differ with the next steps depending on your device or if you have already setup another email address in the application.
Note: If you are presented with the option to Add another email address, click it to proceed. If you are taken to your Gmail Inbox, click your Gmail's User Profile icon on the top right of the page and then click Add another account to proceed.
- Select Other from the options (If you have an Outlook, Hotmail, Live, Yahoo or Exchange/Office 365 email click the appropriate option).
- Enter your email address and click Next.
- If prompted to select What Type of Account is this, select the Personal (IMAP) option.
