7 | In the Email Address field, type your email address (e.g. johndoe@earthlink.net). |

9 | In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server field, type your Incoming mail server (POP). | ||
10 | In the User Name field, type your email address (e.g. johndoe@earthlink.net). |
11 | In the Password field, type your account password. | |

13 | In the Outgoing Mail Server field, type smtpauth.earthlink.net. |
14 | Place a check in the box next to the left of Use Authentication. |
15 | In the User Name field, type your email address (e.g. johndoe@earthlink.net). | |
16 | In the Password field, type your account password. |
17 | Click the Continue button. |
18 | Click the Continue button. |
19 | Click the Done button. |
20 | Open Mail. |
21 | From the Mail menu, choose Preferences. |
22 | Click the Accounts icon. |
23 | Click on Server Settings. |
24 | In the Outgoing Mail Server field, type smtpauth.earthlink.net. | |
25 | In the Server port field, type 587. |
26 | Select Password in the Authentication drop down. | |
27 | In the User Name field, type your earthlink email address (e.g. johndoe@earthlink.net). |
28 | In the Password field, type your email address password. | |
29 | Click OK. |
30 | Close the Accounts window. |
31 | If prompted, click the Save button. |
