Blocking an Email or Domain in WebMail
You can block an individual email address using the Blocked Senders List in EarthLink WebMail. Additionally, you can block all email from a domain, but you should be sure you do not want to receive any legitimate email from that domain before doing so.
In EarthLink WebMail, click on the Edit option next to the SpamBlocker folder in your folder
list. Alternatively, you can click on Preferences on the top right of
the WebMail page and then click on the SpamBlocker link under the General
tab.
Next, click on the Settings tab.
Scroll down the page and click on the blue Blocked Sender List link in the Blocked
Sender List section.
The Blocked Sender list is limited to 500 entries. This includes a total of all emails or domains being blocked. Blocking an entire domain only counts for one entry. You can see how many emails or domains you are currently blocking after the second sentence on this page. In this example, the customer is using 498 out of 500 available blocked addresses.
Existing blocks will be seen in the first box on the page. To add a domain or email
address, enter it in the second box and then click the Block This Address or Domain button.
If you need to remove an address or domain, select it in the upper box and click the Unblock Sender(s) button to on the right. Note that the number of currently blocked addresses or domains is included just above the box for easy reference. If you have reached the maximum of 500 entries, you will need to remove a few older entries before adding a new one.
Removing or adding a sender or domain happens immediately once you have clicked either the Block or Unblock buttons. There is no delay in the change to your inbox.
