Portal - How to change your Password
I do not have an EarthLink Email address. I use an @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, or another email address to access my EarthLink account and my Account was created AFTER August 17, 2023 (If your account was created after this date, please see the next section).
- Go to https://portal.elnkdev.com/login/
- Login to Portal with your Account email address and current password.
- If you do not know your current password, click on Forgot Password above the Sign In button and follow the prompts to verify your account and create a new password.
- Click on My Account on the top right under Quick Links.
- Click on Account Security in the left navigation menu.
- Click on Change Password and then fill out the Current Password, New Password and Confirm Password (the new password) sections.
- Your password must meet at least 3 of the following requirements: between 8 and 32 characters, lowercase letters, Uppercase letters, numbers, special characters excluding \ and "
- Click Save to update your EarthLink Email address Password.
MyAccount - How to change your Password

- Login to MyAccount with your Account email address and current password.
- If you do not know your current password, click on Forgot your password above the Sign In button and follow the prompts to verify your account and create a new password.
- Click on Account Security in the left navigation menu.
- Under Select Username or Email Address to change, make sure your Account email is selected. If you do not have this option continue to the next step.
- Under the Change Password section, click on Expand to update your password and then fill out the Current Password, New Password and Confirm Password (the new password) sections.
- Your password must meet at least 3 of the following requirements: between 8 and 32 characters, lowercase letters, Uppercase letters, numbers, special characters excluding \ and "
- Click Change Password to update your EarthLink Email address Password.
EarthLink Email Address Accounts:
I have an @earthlink.net, @mindspring.com or other EarthLink provided Email address and I would like to update the password.
You can change your EarthLink Email password in EarthLink WebMail.
- Go to https://webmail.earthlink.net
- Login to WebMail with your EarthLink Email address and current password.
- If you do not know your current password, click on Forgot your password above the Sign In button and follow the prompts to verify your account and create a new password.
- Click on Preferences on the top right of the page.
- Click on Account Security.
- If you see a drop down list at the top of the page, make sure you select the email address you want to update from the dropdown. If you do not see a dropdown, then proceed to the next step.
- Under the Change Password section, fill out the Current Password, New Password and Confirm Password (the new password) sections.
- Your password must meet at least 3 of the following requirements: between 8 and 32 characters, lowercase letters, Uppercase letters, numbers, special characters excluding \ and "
- Click Save to update your EarthLink Email address Password.
