Blocking an Email or Domain in WebMail

Blocking an Email or Domain in WebMail

You can block an individual email using the Blocked Senders List in EarthLink WebMail. Additionally, you can block all email from a domain, but you should be sure you do not want to receive any legitimate email from that domain before doing so.

  1. In EarthLink WebMail, click on the Edit option next to the SpamBlocker folder in your folder list.

  1. Click on the Settings tab.

  1. Scroll down the page and click on the blue Blocked Sender List link in the Blocked Sender List section.

  1. The Block list is limited to 500 entries.  This includes a total of all emails or domains being blocked.  You can see how many emails or domains you are currently blocking after the second sentence on this page.  In this example, the customer is using 498 out of 500 available blocked addresses.

  1. You can see any currently blocked email addresses or domains in the blocked addresses box in the middle of the page.  If you are looking for a specific entry, you can use the search box to find that address or domain.

  1. To add a domain or email address, enter the address or domain in the submission box and then click the Block This Address or Domain button. Existing blocked emails or domains can be seen in the first box on the page.

  1. If you need to remove an address or domain, check the box next to the entry and then click the Unblock Sender button.
