Transferring Files (FTP)EarthLink offers 6 megabytes of free webspace to anyone with an Earthlink email address. To take advantage of this, please visit our signup page at http://www.earthlink.net/benefits/6mb.html. Before signing up, please read our Free Web Space Terms and Conditions. After that you can submit your EarthLink email address via our online form. When EarthLink has finished creating space for your Web site, you will be sent an email message containing the FTP settings you will need, and other important information regarding your site. After you receive this information, the site is ready for uploading. You can identify the correct message by looking for the following information found in the email header:
The title at the top of the message will read "Welcome to the Web!". This message will contain all the necessary settings needed for uploading files. It will also have other important information regarding your Web site. We highly recommend that you save and print a copy of the message that was sent to you after your space has been created.
